Are we crazy?!

Well, we must be a little crazy. We have decided to move while still adjusting to life with a two-year old and a seven-week old. I am excited, and the house is perfect for us, but we do have our work cut out for us in the next month. The new house actually isn't too much bigger than our current home (a 1950s government-built duplex), but it's on one level, has two bathrooms and a garage. These were all "musts" for me while looking for a new house. Luckily, I did quite a bit of downsizing and reorganizing before Ben was born, but there is still tons more to do. Not to mention all the packing. I am very fortunate to have my parents in town, and they've already been a huge help. I know that the boys will spend more and more time with them as moving day approaches. Wish me luck!

Matthew has been obsessed with builders, construction, tools, and construction vehicles lately. We gave him a tool set for his birthday, which he plays with daily. Of course, none of the tools are as fun as Daddy's REAL tools. Matthew found one of Pat's old hard hats in the shed the other day, and now it goes everywhere with him. It's way too big, though, so he has to hold it up with one hand and "fix" with the other. He's been such a good big brother and even shares his tools with Benjamin!

Benjamin is a very big boy--at his one month check-up he weighed in at 11 pounds, 13 ounces! He's now in size 6 month clothes. We love our big boy, but we do joke about him looking a little like Humpty-Dumpty. :)

The other night I FINALLY finished a knitting project, but it still needs to be blocked (it's a lace project, so the blocking is absolutely necessary this time). I also started a new project, but this one will take a while. Hopefully I'll be able to get the details/pictures of the projects up soon!

Your boys are beautiful! Good luck with the move. Moving is probably one of my least favorite things to do. Ugh...

good luck with your move! It's hard n the process but the second you are all settled in it will be so nice for you and your family.

I love your new house, Katie! How exciting! Thanks for the pictures of your boys too. I love seeing them. If you need help we can always watch Matthew. I don't know if I could take care of Benjamin too though...little ones are always hard for me. Also, Lilly has a virus so we'll have to come visit later. Give us a week or so and we'll be germ-free, hopefully....

Katie, thanks once again for those dresses. Lilly LOVES them. She is really into being a princess and thinks that if you wear a dress, you're a princess:). She's really enjoyed them:).
